For over 65 years, Nissin Foods has created and served delicious, convenient Asian-inspired meals at an affordable price. The company was established in 1958 by Momofuku Ando, who invented the first instant ramen noodle in Japan. In 1971, the company launched CUP NOODLE in Japan and in the U.S. in 1973, revolutionizing the industry by creating a product that could be
packaged, prepared, and served all in one go. Nissin Foods USA opened its first plant in Gardena, California, in 1972 while establishing a secondary plant in Lancaster, PA, in 1983.

• Nissin Foods introduced a new brand to its portfolio with the blending of chopped ramen noodles, rice and stir fry vegetables – Cup Noodles Stir Fry Rice With Noodles in 2022.
• Cup Noodles kickstarted their innovative flavor pipeline in 2020 with the announcement of Cup Noodles Pumpkin Spice, followed by Cup Noodles Breakfast, Cup Noodles Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese and Cup Noodles Campfire S’mores.
• The company launched the first chili-infused noodles available in the U.S. with the introduction of GEKI and Hot & Spicy FIRE WOK Packets in 2023.
